Authors biography- 11 year old boy named Birke who's passion is to talk about the food we eat. He studies the sustainable and organic farming.  He is an offical farmer. He is always thinking about information that is great and will allow is his peers to know something that is happening to the food that we eat. His goal to is to tell others about the destructiveness of the industrialized food system.  Birke Baehr is famous for teaching others about what is happening in out industry and how we can help our economy for having healthy, organic and fresh food to eat.

Why we should watch it in class- I think that we should watch this video in class because it is telling us how the expectation of the process and the reality right now for making the food we eat. The moral of this video is to make us understand how our food is made/ processed. We need to know what's inside of our food, where it comes from and how it is made/ the process of making the food.

Knowing all this would be good because we should know if we are getting food that at is organic, healthy and fresh not with chemicals and other processes that are put on to make them last longer than the day it is supposed to rot. The video tells us how some of the food that we eat can have cancer and it can harm our intenstines and that isn't good for our body. 

Knowing what goes inside our food is important because they could be putting anything to make the food sweet, bigger and more in the color it needs. Seeing the steps/ process for how they make our food, what chemicals they put in and what type of chemicals so it doesn't harm us. Lastly, we need to know where it comes from because the some I the food we eat sit really grow in the t area and they will duplicate the food. Once I saw a video that showed a person duplicating a cabbage and it looked alike and with that we can tell that it has a lot of chemical to make it.

In conclusion, we should watch this video because we get to know what is happening to our food system and how we can do something to help make a change before all the food the food we eat not just be filled with chemicals and other bad stuff in it.

Author- John Wooden

Author's biography- John Wooden is known as a coach that made UCLA's winning records that was matchless in the basketball history. He was named 'Wizard of Westwood', when he was the coach of UCLA and had won 10 national championships. John Wooden was named the national coach of the year six times. John Wooden is famous for being the head coach of the UCLA Bruins basketball team. He has a book called "They call me coach", it is about his life, players, and his winning attitude. 

Why we should see this video in class- We should see this video in class because John Wooden talks about how we shouldn't compare each other by how smart or how dumb someone is, his basketball journey, liking to write poetry and discribes the meaning of success.

His speech is very powerful, inspiring, and courageous.

The speech that John Wooden talks about: being successful doesn't mean you have to have A's and B's or 90's or 100's, that is because we all have differen way of learning, some learn slow and the others may learn fast.  

His defination of success was 'peace of mind attained only the theough self satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do the best of which you're capable of'. Like his dad said 'you should never try thinking that your better than someone else. 

He always reminded his players that when ever the game is over don't let others know that you didn't outcome , they shouldn't know it from your actions too. The opponent shouldn't tell by the actions whether you outscored them or they had outscored you.

Mr. Wooden talked about when he was the coach of UCLA and how the players had to get the self satisfaction for know ong that they can do there best of what they are capable of.

The book that he had mentioned 'they call me coach' is about him talking about his coaching years, from difficult times to the easy, his two players Conard Burke and Doug McIntosh, and their personality.

In conclusion, we should watch this video in class because it talks about the reality of people. We need to learn how success is really earned and how we can make I happen if we work hard to achieve it.

This is my favourite photo because it was our first project that we did as a group on  photography that was very interestingly fun and enjoyable. Our group had one the best collection of photos. In this project we were asked to make a dramatic scene with a description of what is happening in that particular scene. The book that we did this project on is Rebound By: Eric Walters. This is a scene when Scott was outside the school property smocking and Sean was telling him how he could get in trouble. " If I was caught on school  property and you were standing with me, then you'd get in trouble too". Having good positivity from the class this was our good but not the best. That is why this picture is one of the best we made in as a group so far.

Question:

Should or should we not have uniform in school?

Uniforms? Why should we wear them? We should have uniforms for school because you represent where you are from. When we go on a trip and someone gets lost, you are able to find them with the uniform and if they were not wearing it you won't be able to find them. That is because you are in a certain dress code you you are representing. Yes, there are times when wearing uniforms can become spiritless and you would want to show who you really are.

Wearing the same thing over and over again is vexatious so we should change. When we don't wear uniform it causes crime, gang, bullying and other matters. Wearing no uniforms we have chances to show who we really are and what our characteristics in real life is. When we don't wear uniforms there are chances that people won't come to school because they are getting bullied and/or other matters (eg. Not having trendy clothes like your friend). Having no uniforms will make other people judge people even more because of what they wear and how they look.

Some of the facts that uniforms help us are: The statistics claim that 44% I the parents have observed that their kids focus more in their school after wearing uniforms. Assaults of student of children from kindergarten to grade 8 had also reduced by 85%. Implementation of this rule was vandalism, where it's instances reduced by 69%. Number of sex offenses drastically reduced as an effect of implementing the school uniform rule.

Some of the clothes  that we wear are made by a child which is called "child labor". It wouldn't take a lot of time to find which clothes to wear every morning, when we have uniform it is easy to know what to wear "UNIFORM", rather than wasting time in the morning to find/decide what to wear. If we wear uniforms there are less chances I having crime, gang, and bullying matters. It encourages to be discipline. It increase the peer pressure by buying trendy clothes. Increases the sense of belonging and school pride.

Quote on wearing uniform is: " the uniform in my opinion are a good idea, they are very professional looking, cheap, than buying clothes every week and show school spirit. Also, means we don't worry much about how we look. I also think that uniform reduce peer problems, people have more friends that they wouldn't  normally have because of the way they dress. Uniform solve problems. -Luis Piodrate.

 In conclusion, uniforms are great way to reduce many things (eg. gang, crime, sex, peer pressure, and bullying). Having uniforms can show our school spirits an how our dress code is and how we represent. That is why having uniforms in school is a good idea.
